Re: Absolute Bargains!

Yo Dudes! Stop Press, hold the front page! For some reason Amazon are selling Monster Distribution blocks for £18.99 instead of £120. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003 ... ge_o01_s00 I installed mine tonight and it sounds epic. This is an added bonus as I just bought it to add another socket f...

Re: Absolute Bargains!

He is one for you to try if you bought IKEA record storage units and like me have a couple of shelves left over. If you do put some basic 3m feet on it and put it under your DS. It has the same musical effect as the Lack table. Once you hear it I can guarantee you'll be in the shed cutting it to fit...

Steve, it would help if we had a better idea of what you were looking for. When you say alternate option are you looking for: Something with even better performance? If so compared to which model? Something with similar performance but using a different connection method such as USB or wireless? (I...

Nothing beats Lyra SPT. I have used this on my Akiva since new and it still gleams. If it is the correct cleaning method for a Titan, it's good enough for any cartridge. I have cleaned friends cartridges some of which had styli that were blacker and crustier than a crow's ass. All have come up gleam...

M Audio Q40's a gift from my son and destroy both my Shenheisers and Ultimate Ears 10 Triplefi's.

The Q40's are just so incredibly musical. They kill on TuneDem.

They also work fantastic on my iPhone and IPod.

Tom, once again a very helpful and informative reply. I spoke to Peter yesterday and he reccomended ordering 3 brand new Naim standard leads for the CDS Supercap and 250 and a new Linn cable for the Lingo. He said in his experience the Naim cables sounded really excellent on the Naiam kit. Consequen...

Great thread Tom and very interesting. Well done for the hard work and thank you. Based on this thread I spent the last couple of hours going through all my cables finding all the volex ones. Luckily, I had 3 exact ones from when I lived in Germany with Shucko Euro plugs. I cut these off and soldere...
