Re: Tune Method / Tunedem / Silent Repetition etc

. I just pick the option I'm enjoying most and this seems to be working great and aligning with the fine ears on this forum (i.e. Playground thread). This is what I do with comparisions - when listening to music I enjoy the music and appreciate all the emotional aspects others allude to. If I am li...

Quite marked differences here - would like to know what you have done to change the system between the two recordings.

Re: Sagatun Mono Tarandus

Thanks Fredrik. Perhaps you should hold an upgrade clinic at Windsor :-) Any idea when the Tundra Mono upgrade will be available? It seems more sensible to send all four boxes to you at once. I quite like my Sagatuns returning to base and meeting up with their creator for a nip and tuck and general...

Re: Sagatun Mono Tarandus

Thanks for the report - looks like my Sagatuns will be heading off to HQ for the upgrade fairly soon. With so many upgrade options available to my system; from KDS/2 to Tundra monos - I will definitely start with the Sagatuns. I have always found the preamplifier to be absolutely key to enjoying the...

Re: Lejonklou at RMAF 2016 (Rocky Mountain Audio Fest

Now to more specifics. The Boazu is exceptional! Fredrik has nicknamed it “Trouble” because it is too good compared to the stereo separates. Thanks for the review - sounds like a productive and enjoyable few days in Denver. The Boazu sounds amazing for an integrated amp at its price point and might...

Re: Lejonklou at RMAF 2016 (Rocky Mountain Audio Fest

When Thomas and Fredrik are fully rested - it might be good to hear some more about Boazu and how it compares to the monos. I presume the ones at RMAF were upgraded monos but how is Boazu compared to non upgraded monos , or even the stereo combination. Once the streamer sees the light of day - might...

Re: Katalyst

Has someone compared KDS/3 to Klimax LP12? Matt This would be interesting but difficult unless one knows how the recordings are made in a great deal of detail. If one uses the same album by an artist and the master tape is analogue - then a vinyl pressing should have an advantage. If the kds/ 3 is ...

Re: Why this forum makes sense!

When I listen to a great system, everything changes. I feel like I can understand any music. My favourites gives me waves of emotions that are beyond my control. Agreed.

Best is to have great vinyl and digital playback systems - still have a lot of work to do on the vinyl side of things but Majik lp12 very enjoyable as it is.

I find 5mm VTA best - but not easy with so many clips to comapare.

Re: Komponent 110 and Lejonklou

Komponent 110 is a brilliant speaker! I really like them and think they have great musicality and dynamics. But not in the lower frequencies. They are super sensitive when it comes to placement. Be prepared to tune to within 1-2 mm. Will work on the placement but have to be careful as technically I...

Komponent 110 and Lejonklou

With all the recent posts regarding amazing speakers and their stands - I thought i would share how Linns lowliest speaker sounds with a full set of Monos and a KDS/2. Quite simply - unbelievably musical; and for their price point ridiculous value. I rigged them up with the main system using 2.48m K...
