Very nice! And the cartridge even matches the colour of the Rega ;-)

Of course it fits, but you may need to adjust the height of the tonearm using the Rega spacers: https://www.rega.co.uk/accessories/2mm- ... -stainless

Re: Entity MC

Hello and welcome!
The 0,4 mV at 3,54 cm/s means 0,5656 mV at 5 cm/s. So with the Dynavector's output of 0,3 mV at 5 cm/s you're ok.
What are your thoughts regarding an upgrade? Or maybe open a new thread for that.
Cheers, Björn

Thank god they didn't! I love Fagen's vocals...

This Lejonklou Kinki could go cheaply, now at SEK 2.000,- (€ 175,-)

Or maybe a Rega Fono MM or Cambridge Audio Solo?

Took a while, but is the Linn Axis a good deal? Linn Axis turntable with Linn Basic plus arm 425EUR https://www.kleinanzeigen.de/s-anzeige/linn-axis-plattenspieler-mit-linn-basik-plus-arm/2522564557-172-1522 It's one of the cheapest Axises I've seen in Germany for a while and I don't think the bear...

Re: Which rack shelf?

I would probably do it like this (I also have a Quadraspire rack):
1. Axis (top)
2. Källa
3. Kinki
4. Boazu
5. Ubiquity & Netgear
6. Empty (bottom)

Re: The conclusion of digital volume regulation

Has anyone tried an akurate Kontrol (The 5.1 older casing version) as a preamp for a tundra? That is basically an Exotik preamp, which really isn't the best Linn preamp... I'm quite sure it doesn't have a DVC, but do you really need all that surround decoding etc.? Wouldn't a Giella ∏ or Superkikki...

Re: Hermanns System

Looking at the pictures, I cannot keep myself from asking, why the Briks are placed so high up? The total height of the stand seems higher than the speaker itself (76 cm). The original stands are around 33 cm, which is supposed to bring the tweeter to the ear level. Graham also specifies, that the t...

Re: Opinions welcome, cheap MC on Planar 3 / Linto

Thanks for your replies. A lot of input to think over. Maybe keep the Elys 2, sell the Linto and get my own creek MM preamp. Maybe better spend some money for a power supply. Don't you have a friend, where you could try the Linto? Anyway, a Creek phono pre wouldn't be my first choice. Why don't you...

Re: Opinions welcome, cheap MC on Planar 3 / Linto

If you go by the traditional rules, the effective mass of the Rega arm is too low for the Denon 103, so you will probably loose some bass performance. It wouldn't be my first (or second) choice for a Rega 3. What is your budget? If you definitely want an MC cartridge, maybe an Audio Technica AT33EV ...

Great shootout charlie1! For the first 10 seconds or so I really liked the first combo, however as the track progressed, the second combo really started to perform and pull into the lead. The first combo sounds great, but in comparison to the second combo it seems a bit brash and loud, whereas the ...
