Re: My system

After that, I will look at a Keel (or some similar product) or an exchange of the 5125 to two 2250. I am in the same situation, I want to upgrade my LP12 since my DVD/CD-playback source has gotten too much financial attention lately... I still play more vinyl than CD. Do you think upgrading to a us...

Re: Keel, Ekos SE and Trampolin 11

Even in Luleå (Takt & Ton) where there actally were an LP12/Keel/Akito 2b/Adikt avaliable, they didn't do the demo! :? I bet Keel alone is such a big upgrade that they are afraid to demo it against the top-spec... They don't want Ekos-owners to send down Ekos SE on the priority list... I am playing...

Linn reads topica and this forum - VERY good news. If I were manufacturing hifi products, I would be interested in getting some feedback this way!

The blog seems to be well-written and contains interesting pictures. I'll bookmark it.

Re: Isolation

The Tenderfeet worked under the CD player, preamp, and amp (and the amp is not light), while the Baby Booties really cleaned up the DVD player, even the picture. I since ordered some maple blocks (.98 cents each) from them just to try maple, and I really liked them under the CD player too. Have you...

Tunedem is probably one of the hardest methods to learn if you really want to. The fact is, I have been in the exact same situation. I was once introduced to tunedem, and I really found the method appealing, but I couldn't get any decent results myself. Why? Because I concentrated too much! I forced...

I think my room may be pretty bad, very "boomy" with both plaster and concrete walls. I have a feeling my system could do better (simple LP12, Classik, Keilidh), although my dealer (Anders at Tonläget) has been here to install my stuff. Or maybe it's just the fact that your never satisfied with you...

Really interesting is that when the speakers are positioned perfect according to tune dem, the HIFI sound gets perfect as well. The sound just "snapps into focus". And the better tuned system, the less need of acoustical treatments. Like to hear others opinion and experience on this matter. I agree...

Re: Tune dem

I would like to praise the tune dem method of positioning your speakers. To get real value for the money, a thorough positioning of the loudspeakers is vital for the end result. I have listened to high-end hifi-systems where only a percentage of the full potential was presented to the listener. And...
