Has anyone compared unbalanced (RCA phono) versus balanced (3-pin XLR) on the Majik or Akurate power amplifier?

It was shipped with Klimax DS during the Auskerry and Bute period. (pre Cara)

Linn replaced REM018 to the standard REM 019 when Cara was released due to intruduction of shuffle, repeat and the Jukebox function. These features can not be accessed from the smaller REM 018.
