Yes, I recall two concerts with Avishai Cohen(tp) at Jazzhaus in Freiburg, South Germany which were terrific.

I think they are sounding great. Maybe I am wrong by just comparing the volume of the speakers to the 3677s for filling a 50 sqm listening room.

IMO, when it is ready it might be a very nice speaker in a smaller listening room.

IIUC, the soldering was done on a Linn Silver IC on the Källa end or the SM end or on both ends?

Re: More About Powering a System

Curious how they daisy-chain when there a 3 outlets each on either side of the inlet - that suggests it's double daisy-chained, left & right, separately... The 'noise-reduction technology' in the P6 makes me skeptical, too... Do you have any experience or knowledge of the internal wiring and/or, mo...

Re: More About Powering a System

Maybe worth a try is also a new powerstrip from Chord:

They do not use star-wiring like others but daisy-chain the outlets so the hierarchy of devices is ensured.

Re: JBL 3677

What are your thoughts on completely rebuilding the crossover with high-quality components? I left my 3677s in their original state. In rebuilding a crossover you have so many variables that the risk is high ending with an unmusical result. I am happy with these speakers as they are. From a source ...

Re: Measurements of the Linn Utopik power supply

However, on a technical view it might be interesting why Linn has chosen a much lower switchfrequency at 33,9 KHz for the Utopik, when the former dynamik had 2,5 higher switch frequency than the non-dynamic power supply before that. The voltage output is also slightly lower from the Utopik than wit...
