B sounds twangy and cheesy like a joke song, and the percussion seems to drag... A sounds like a more genuine attempt to perform the piece.

Are they volume matched because Inner feels a little quieter, which puts it at a slight disadvantage... I would expect other reputable manufacturers cables to perform equally well, particularly the US standard cable which has a thicker “earth” wire.
