Acquiring Roy Halee productions. Halee produced/engineered albums I love hearing. Puzzled by Halee's role with Graceland. I read he went to South Africa with Paul Simon. They produced magic.

Nile's debut is new to me. He's talented.

Re: Home Network tweaking (was 'Buy or Rent')

Hey 1st post. Melco is parent company. Own Buffalo. Switch it? If accuracy is vital, as you stated below, you might want to get the information correct before castigating someone on their post. The Melco we are talking about here, quite obviously, is the Melco who makes the audio oriented network g...

A for me.

What became of the JBL speakers Thomas? The thread on the JBLs is humorous. Did anyone other than Mattias and Music Lover keep them?

Re: Karousel

Heard the Karousel for the 1st time this morning. Set up by ThomasOK. Not musical. Advice to Linn. Please go back to the Cirkus and re-engineer a Cirkus bearing to mimic the origins of the LP12 sound. You have two markets. The original musicality market and the later Linn market. Provide a new beari...

Re: HAKAI Build Help?

"Let's deal in facts", you say, as if I wasn't?!? That was why I asked what the criteria was for ranking the cases, but which went unanswered. The Node 202 is designed for an SFX power supply - that it was set up and compared using a Pico power supply is a detail, or fact, that wasn't made clear. I...

It's at least somewhat dependent: the Node 202 accommodates an SFX power supply
The Node 202 can, "accomodate" a gaming card, it has no bearing on its use as a CA case. However, the expansion card slots and vacant real estate may be valuable for CA.

Re: HAKAI Build Help?

The PSU used is not case dependent for the Node 202. At all. Let's deal in facts please, the case can be used with an SFX power supply, a pico power supply or a directly powered motherboard. A mere glance at the specifications informs me. But I'm assured our erstwhile forum contributor has builds us...

It's at least somewhat dependent: the Node 202 accommodates an SFX power supply; the Streacom case uses a 'picoPSU' board with an external supply/adapter...

Curious what criteria determine top in this case (no pun intended ;) and what PSU in the FD establishes that ranking.
FPM explained his rationale for the Streacom ranking.

The PSU used is not case dependent.

Re: HAKAI Build Help?

If one wishes to build a HAKAI, is this case recommended? Is there an alternate case to put in the shopping cart? I know FairPlayMotty has tested some different cases, though the impact doesn’t appear significant. Thanks once more OscarH. FPM reached out to me. He's used five cases, ranks Streacom ...

Rumor has it Macca replaced Ringo on drums sometimes. I like Ringo's drumming on Beatles LPs, especially the earlier ones where his timing is great to my ears. I guess he wasn't the most technically proficient though. A reporter once asked John Lennon if Ringo was the best drummer in the world. “He...

I find trying to keep tack of parents and children in the electronics industry to be quite time consuming as it is already chaos with all the buying and selling. Who owns B&W this week?
