They say: if you have to ask, you can't afford it... Either that or the seller didn't list a price 😉😁

Re: Nait 50
Idiomatically, "if it looks like a duck and walks like a duck, it is a duck" Nothing about 'if it sounds like a duck', much less a musical one... If they've overcooked it, after 50yrs, you might be better with sauce first 🦆

Re: More About Powering a System
I assume you have tried: Giella PI-Lingo 2-Slipsik 8-space-TM2-TM2, and Giella PI-Slipsik 8-Lingo 2-space-TM2-TM2 ? Preferred the latter, as it was before Thought "as it was before" was Slipsik 1st? :-? .. preferred slipsik/giella pi/lingo2/space/tm2/tm2 To slipsik/giella pi/space/lingo2/tm2/tm2

Re: More About Powering a System
The 100mm spacing hasn’t been verified as the best spacing, and isn’t a hard and fast rule. Initially, I tried three distances, 0mm, roughly 200mm and roughly 50mm, all measured by eye. Having a space between Källa and Boazu seemed to work the best, so I wondered if increasing the space would make ...

Re: More About Powering a System
Question to markiteight & ThomasOK, primarily, regarding the US power cord for a Cablepro: I know Fredrik recommends shorter (2'), heavier (14) gauge, and that Volex tends to be preferred, but the ready-made 2 ft Volex only seems to be available in 16ga. Have either of you, or anyone tried the P007-...

Re: More About Powering a System
I had it wrong too: I had moved Kalla as well as TMs so my Lejonklou electronics are currently plugged in as in the 'to try' orientation... With the internal wiring of the Cablepro (live & neutral) arranged as it is, I don't know that it can reveal the musical benefit of Spannko's findings unless re...

Re: More About Powering a System
In UK & EU power strips, are the internals wired as individual outlets? The Ikea power strips are brass bars, while the Cablepro are wired duplex outlets. Looking to understand whether it's the wiring that matters, or the spacing, or both... With the duplex outlets in the Cablepro there's limited fl...

Re: Playground for practical listening exercises
1A is K20 an 1B is K400. I thought folks might be interested so I posted them but for me the K400 clearly works better with the 212s. This is why I recorded up close so you couldn't see the cables... Thanks everyone for listening as always. PS After these clips, I swapped the decks over from 1992-s...

Re: Playground for practical listening exercises
Comparison 1 is pretty clear to me, but hearing pro's and con's in the second comparison... The way you phrased it I wasn't sure if you wanted confirmation on 1, and we're looking for opinions on 2, or just wanted help with 2... Since you said 1 was obvious, I thought B then Began convincing myself...

Re: Forum issues are discussed here
Thank you for the suggestion! I currently don't know whether this is possible without making a whole new theme with inverted colours. But I will have a look around and see if anyone else has dived into this. Only if it's simple - I don't want to incur the wrath of anyone on the waiting list by dela...

Re: Forum issues are discussed here
Not an "issue", more a feature request: would it be possible to add a dark mode/theme as an option to be able to choose between the fresh white, or a less visually bright presentation? If it's there already I couldn't find it...

Re: Playground for practical listening exercises
These are Marco’s units I had the opportunity to run them in and compare while he had short holiday Thanks for posting, Sopper. Very interesting & informative to hear the differences across a range of tracks, and really helpful especially with the clips so consistently recorded… There’s been mentio...

Re: Playground for practical listening exercises
More inclined to B... just seemed a bit more holistic, if a little less impressive. A was opposite: more individual elements, but didn't come together in the same way... 'less' was more for me.
Re: MQA
Surely, Matt and Tokenbrit, the streaming can give you a satisfying play back with the right gear, but again, you are dependent on what manipulating streaming services are doing afterwards, for bad or good. Once you have your vinyl, tape or CD copy it is up to you setting up the gear to get the bes...

Better even than your decision to get married?!? Wow, high praise indeed for the TM3s ;)
Re: MQA
.. a lot more [digital] decisions made in terms of format and transfer in the chain than when you only get your vinyl from the record shop to play on your turntable. Who can you trust most, commercially driven streaming (with maybe the luck of a good representation of the music) or your own individ...

Indeed macrotech2, indeed. Now, after ten hours of Tundra Mono 3, I would like to share my decision... The Tundra Mono 3 will stay, the Tundra Stereo is packed in. Most likely it's the first time hearing Tundra Mono 3, but is this your first time hearing any version of Tundra Monos in your system, ...

Re: Charlie1's System
Bought David Neel's Mono 2.2s... .. There's not a sense of power like Linn Klimax amps but it's enough... Didn't the journey begin with Klimax amplification? ;) More than a sense of power with the TMs here - now that the 212 bass is under control, and the 'thermostat' reduced, maybe try repositioni...

Re: Cleaning Linn Axis motor pulley
.. see how the belt drops down on the pulley at startup... Interesting - I don't see as much suspension movement as I do vertical movement of the belt on the motor pulley... Or am I seeing it wrong :? I wonder if the belt drops lower on the motor pulley, onto the smaller circumference, due to the s...
