I'm now running my ADS/D with Cara 3.6.7 and I'm really happy with it! :D Much better then Cara 6 and better then Cara 4. Thanks to Patrik for sending it to me! IMHO this is the best SW to date and I reccomend it to all our readers! I can't believe how some people at the Linn Forum can't hear differ...

Harmonihyllan ("The Harmony Rack") is made and invented in Gothenburg. The birthplace of Harmonihyllan in Gothenburg (www.tonlaget.com) has them on demo in the shop. Ryanair flies to Gothenburg City Airport and I live close to the airport. I offer Anthony or Charlie a free ride from the airport and ...

Would also be interested in Linnofil and Music at Home's view on this too ... Also, are the 109s stands fairly child proof or are they easily knocked over? I seem to recall that 212s are screwed to the stands, so are 109s the same? I'm not so sure you want to hear my 109 story Charlie. I ordered th...

perhaps they should be converted to internal K400 wiring, as I did in my Katan's? In addition, there are some probably not so great sounding connectors inside the 109's that might be holding them back a little. Linnofil: Both speakers and stands were faulty?? I will tell you what the 109's look lik...

That silver pod on top of the black plastic cavity is quite ugly and always attracting the eye. If I decide to keep the 109's in my living room, I will have to paint the pods black. I will soon have the same problem. I got my white Majik 109/silver stands 9 days ago, but have not been able to liste...

I 'might' get another pair myself with the 6100 Dynamik. Go for it Charlie! It really is a great upgrade from the Ninka's. The second hand value of the Ninka's compared to a pair of new Majik 109 makes it a free upgrade, when the Dynamik is included. The Dynamik makes wonders on a power amp! Alrigh...

Now I'm on Cara two to! ;) It's better than Cara 1, but not really revolutionary in my opinion. Maybe the step is as big as Cara .23 to Cara 1? But Bute 0.9 to Cara .23, that was revolutionary!

Can't be anything but happy for a free improvement! Great work Linn!

Re: Ittok LV-II vs Project 9

How does the new Linn-sanctioned Project 9 tonearm compares (in tune and musicality) to the old-and-venerable Ittok LV-II?? I would say, not (at all) as good. I have compared the Project 9 with the Akito 2b and the Akito is significantly better than the Project 9. And the Project 9 also has a speci...

Music lover? Linnofil? I know you got som ideas about this. I'll give it a go... Performance of NAS's I've tested is as follows: 1: Netgear ReadyNAS NV+ + performance, easy config, X-RAID with 4 HDD, front display, robust design - high level of noice, expensive, easy install of Twonky, but not prei...

Interesting! Please let us know how you like the combination. It's not a Linn source or like a tape recorded with LP12, but it's pretty good for MP3/Digital. Much better than most standard CD players. (I.e. non-audiophile players.)

I have now done some further testing, by my own and with Stefan on the Swedish Linn Forum. At first I bought the Sandisk Sansa Clip 8 Gb. I had heard good things about it and was curious about it's performance and FLAC support. Sadly the Clip was not better than my old Sansa M250 and the FLAC suppor...

I was a bit pressed for time today, so no time to test the Kinki 2 against the Akurate Kontrol. But the fact that he used the Kinki 2 should say something. He said he prefered it to the Slipsik 4, despite the better sound in the Slipsik.
