Yep, no accounting for previous owners' actions.

Re: On the topic of "Watermark" in music files

Continues to amaze me that those who legitimately buy music have to pay again with cr*p such as this and formerly DRM. To catch the thieves we'll punish the innocent who pay our wages. Outrageous and completely unacceptable. Has now been discussed on the Linn forum. I gave it (admittedly very limite...

Interesting to read this Ozzy.

Not sure I could cope with your wallpaper - I think I would suffer from an imaginary buzzing sound on my hifi :-)

Re: Linn AV5140 / Espek Passive Crossovers

I eventually bought a set of generic Chinese crossovers from ebay with the correct crossover frequencies and slopes. Work very well for £35 the pair.

Please close the thread.

Re: Linn AV5140 / Espek Passive Crossovers

Thanks davestp1, but I can't see them. There are some active crossovers, but I can't see passives.

Could you post a link to them please?

Thanks

Thanks for your detailed write-up. Suprised to read that you're finding the Akubariks lacking in bass. I've heard them in a number of system combinations and different rooms and only once have heard them a little light in the bass - that was in a room about 10m x 10m which was just to big for them. ...

It feels weird to even bother discussing Exakt on Fredrik's website, especially given the outstanding attention to detail, enthusiasm, honesty, and fair pricing that goes into Lejonklou products (in stark kontrast to Linn & Exakt) Regardless of what anyone thinks of Exakt, I find this comment somew...

I have had great success with the PS Audio P5 regenerator. Thanks Sunbeam. I just looked up the price tag (£3k). Wow - don't think I'll be trying one of those any time soon. Would like to hear what it does though. Charlie, hi You might like to consider UK manufacturer, Isol-8 who also do a similar ...

I have had great success with the PS Audio P5 regenerator. It takes in the noisy mains, converts to DC then re-clocks to AC, along with a large reservoir. THD on the mains drops from 1.8% to around 0.1% and voltage fluctuation all but disappears. In my limited experience of my home voltage varying b...
