I'd also recommend keeping an eye out for a Unidisc 2.1 or 1.1 and selling the SC. 2.1s and 1.1s have been pretty cheap recently on eBay etc.

There's no such thing as "old K200" unless people manually split K400. K600 went out of production a while ago, so it's easier to get three lengths of K400 and split one to use as the extra pair if you need three channels. Consensus on here is that new K200 is not as good as the old "K200" made from half of a K400. I would expect that a K600 would beat 3xK200 on that basis.

I can recommend the RKDSM, Tundra and 242s combo. I've just switched from a Renew KDS/1 and Exotik/Dyn combination feeding my own Tundra and 242s to a Renew KDSM (thanks to another seller on here) and it sounds great!

A couple of thoughts from me on those points, some of which are the opposite of Don's views (sorry!) : 1 - I agree that this would be useful to some, and that a Lejonklou Streamer + Tundra combo might well be more tuneful than a Streamer + inferior preamp + Tundra combo. Looks like it's only a concern if you have Exakt outputs on your device, so fine for anyone with a Renew, for instance.

Just be a little bit wary of 34. The reason it was withdrawn was that one or two people managed to completely "brick" their DS/DSM when applying it. I don't know which model and what specific circumstances applied when it was being updated, but I just thought I'd mention it...
