A gratuitous set of pictures of stereo Tundras. Maybe it will cheer us up a bit in these interesting times. https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-V8IBaMYou1k/Xl0hWwtihPI/AAAAAAAAINo/Ey-LvyX5or4RdxpTkKnzOjrQTBKTqYAywCNcBGAsYHQ/s1600/20200302_145330%2B-%2BCopy.jpg https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-VBv81MwsyEo/XsWR40OBf...

Re: EVENTS

Are Fredrik or ThomasOK appearing on the Stereophile Axpona live stream today? Thanks for the question. Unfortunately nobody asked us. I didn’t even know about the live stream until the general public was given the info. I don’t know how they chose who to put on but I would expect that Music Direct...

I'd guess this is Linn just being prudent. After all, it is not Linn's job to maintain compatibility with third party subchassis vendors. The third party subchassis vendors need to maintain compatibility with Linn - or lose this business. I could see the Valhalla being a problem, but a subchassis? ...

The bottom screw on piece is likely too big for the hole in Valhalla, which means it will violate the safety distance.
this can be resolved with a few strips of balsa wood squeezed into the gap...
You mean you don't want suspension?
It was a joke about the Radikal / shallow plinth issue.

Re: Active cards in Majik 4100

I'm sure Tendaberry will have sent you something useful. But I just wanted to say "take care". Anti-static precautions must be taken and you need to be very confident that you understand the instructions and fully confident in how to apply them. Its not a hard job, but the consequences of getting it...

Re: Upgrade inertia

SPACE is not capable of dealing with a room mode null, which is where bass is light in your room. It only deals with room mode peaks and reduces them accordingly. So the first move might just be to re-arrange your gear and listening position in the room, remembering that Saras do like to be close to...

Re: Recording Bass Guitar

I would've thought that a miked up valve bass guitar amp would sound quite different to plugging the guitar straight into the mixing desk. Perhaps you'd enjoy valve amps in your system Charlie1? Did you hear the sound you like in any of the valve powered systems at Bristol? I guess so. Would most o...

Bristol Hifi Show 2020

Unfortunately no Lejonklou content, but plenty more from the wider hifi world, including some Linn. Finally got through posting up all my photos and room notes - nearly all of the non-headphone rooms are covered. Re: Repairing Majik 140 speakers

You probably need to remove the mid driver (the one below the 2K array) and remove the whole skoop - but I'm not sure how that is fitted into the cabinet. The array will be held onto the skoop by a single cross head screw. Don't attempt to loosen the screws around the periphery of the rear of the 2K...
