Sorry if this question is already asked, but would you say the iPad mini is worth buying for the sound improvement alone?
I’m currently playing from an iPad pro 2021.

Re: LP12 Building Advice
If you want to improve upon what you had before, how about the Karousel bearing? Possibly but I've heard conflicting reports about it. Once the initial euphoria over the cleaner more detailed sound wears off it is less musically satisfying. I'm not ruling it out but I want to take it slow. Run with...

Re: General Discussion about Källa
Azazello, what do you think now about musicality of Qobuz vs Spotify? Thanks To answer my own question, me and my family compared "April in Paris" from Sarah Vaughan on Spotify and Qobuz. Qobuz was much better. It is a pity that Spotify do not want to launch Spotify HiFi. Is that on Källa? I still ...

I’m really happy with the modified Graham Audio stands! Aesthetically and sound wise.

I started the "free trial" in order to be able to start from the beginning. Sounds much better than yesterday!

Re: General Discussion about Källa
I downloaded Qobuz today and compared to Spotify. Maybe I did something wrong, or is the trial version is bad in some way (sounds like a poor marketing strategy to provide snippets of bad quality…)? But it was not even close, I wanted to turn it of immediately. Have compared Spotify and YouToube mus...

What version of 108T are you using? The currently available one seems to be called Netgear Pro GS108Tv3

Re: JBL 308P and 708P
You need a power cord without ground. Sounds dangerous if the device is intended to be used with the ground. Yes, having a mains ground is safer. In modern installations it will make a central fuse trip really fast when anything malfunctions. Without a mains ground it will take a little longer. But...

Re: JBL 308P and 708P
jajo & Azazello, I’m not using “traditional” stands. They consist of an open metal frame with a couple of 75mm timbers on top to raise the height to 500mm! 😳 🤣 Regardless of the construction, they seem to work very well with Graham LS5/9’s, producing a tuneful, harmonious and rhythmic sound, but ad...

Re: JBL 308P and 708P
Thanks jajo. The reason I ask is because I’ve recently bought a pair of 308’s and they don’t have the musicality you describe. The system consists of KDS/1 + Linn Silver + original Majik pre-amp section + Linn Silver + no name phono to xlr adapter. I appreciate that the phono to xlr adapter will ha...

Re: JBL 308P and 708P
Can you describe the improvements while listening to music? Ta The smile on my face is back. Do they remind you of an early 90s lp12 ,a bit like hearing the album for the first time,or more like replicating the highest enjoyment period !? The source (see what I did there?) of all of those feelings ...

Re: JBL 308P and 708P
Ok. 308P are insanely good. Clearly better than TM/3677 (although I still miss them on some recordings). It’s nuts. My pair must have been more or less new, and apparently they need quite some time to break in. I have made some adjustments during the weekend, tightening some screws and adding nuts ...
