Sounds like the symptoms one of mine had last year. I had it recapped by a dealer. Problem solved.

Are you sure? I think the clock is on the streaming board supplying the clock to internal ADC/DAC or external Exakt devices.
Correct - the new master clock is definitely included in the hub, it is one of the benefits that Linn list for the hub.

Re: Liquid stylus treatments on Kandid.

Very soft paint brush for removing fluff balls. Green Paper every few sides, followed by a wipe with SPT. As Lyra make the Kandid for Linn, I don’t have an issue with using it. I also believe that David Williamson, the Kandid designer, uses it on his.

Bearing caps weren’t supplied with the early Karousels as they weren’t available at the time. The latest models are being supplied with black caps that fit the nut - I now have one of these. I’m also told that there is also a plug, but have yet to see one of these. If you didn’t get a cap with yours...

oil is included but the belt is not part of the kit - but wait until Hermann is confirming Thats correct. Plus some screws I couldn't match. I’m sorry, ‘troll. I did look for something from Linn but found nothing so far on consumer or dealer websites. Considering the tone earlier in the thread I just couldn’t resist the perfect setup! :-) No harm intended.
None taken, Tom. 😎

Hi, Clear that it is not limited to LP12 only. But you are saying that it is not limited to upgrades only so it is also possible to buy eg an amplifier, speaker or cables? Yes, that is exactly what I am saying as it is what Linn has said to me. Amplifiers, DS, DSM, speakers, cables, Exaktboxes, etc...

Re: The Linn forum is officially dead

Now here's a turnup for the book. Along with no doubt many others on their mailing list, I've just had an email from Simon Chisholm at Linn announcing that, following the demise of the main Linn forum, a Development forum will shortly be opened for the use of beta testers. I shall certainly be join...

I suppose it depends on the Ts &Cs that were signed up to? Personally, I’m not bothered, just interested in getting the good parts of the old forum back online. This is a step in the right direction as far as I’m concerned. Admittedly, it could all have been handled much better, but, heck, we are wh...

Hifi Wigwam have created a “Linn Forum Users” section and are working with Linn to transfer across much of the Linn forum threads. I encourage displaced Linnie to he’d off over there.

Which news? This news: http://news.linn.co.uk/news/ ? I believe they not only have a hard time dealing with Forum, but with dealing anything public-facing.
