Re: Absolute Bargains!
The modification was to put what Grado calls the G cushions on them. These are their largest cushions that fit around the ear. They are very big and not particularly attractive and come on the G series and the bigger P series headphones. They run $50 a pair. I found the SR125e to be very musical in...

Re: Karousel
If a system or a musician has managed to convey what they're trying to say with music ,why would you want to listen again unless you didn't understand the message I'll answer with a question. If you get the chance to eat a fantastic three course dinner, would you not want to eat that ever again? By...

Re: Tune Dem of Headphones
You can fit the G, L and S cushions to any of the Grado models except the iGrados. So SR60 on up. We have had customers put the G cushions on PS500s and SR325s and they have been quite happy with them. They do each have slightly different sounds so best to try them if you can. Since we normally hav...

Re: Tune Dem of Headphones
I only feel the pressure of my PS500e's after a few hours, but then again, they have the L cushions and the SR125e's have the S cushion. Another factor is if you wear glasses or not and the size of your ears. It might also be an option to replace the standard cushions with one of these: https://www...

Re: Tune Dem of Headphones
Hi all, FIrst I'd like to thank all of you who have contributed with tests and reviews in this thread, very interesting and useful! My current headphones, AKG 501, are getting old and worn, so I'm considering investing in a new pair. I'm obviously interested in the Grado SR125e, but my problem with ...

I voted for three sources for my Monos. I have two permanent sources, streamer and UHD-player, and sometimes a laptop.

Re: HAKAI playground
My experience with Bubble is that it has to be active in order to play the next track so it is definitely in the mix somehow. If the phone goes to sleep or you close the app the music will stop after the track has finished. With Kazoo the playlist is set up and it takes itself out of the mix and eve...

I've been a couple of steps below orange at most, and have yet to experience clipping. I must have been close, though. Another thing is that with movies, it's possible to climb higher than with music. With music green is very loud, at least on my Ninkas.

Nothing will happen with the streamer project until a new angle is found. Or a new person with new ideas appears.

Re: Lejonklou at RMAF 2017 (Rocky Mountain Audio Fest)
Good to read you had another successful event. A couple of questions on the system please. Is it deliberate to leave an unused shelf on the bottom of each rack, and what are the white blocks on those shelves? What is the box with lots of knobs over by the right hand speaker? Thanks Yes, the bottom ...

Tony Levin also played on the albums by Liquid Tension Experiment, a band that, beside Levin, consisted of Mike Portnoy, John Petrucci and Jordan Rudess from Dream Theater.

Re: JBL 3677
I thought about that but since Anders hasn't developed a Mimer version of it I wasn't thrilled with the idea. My plan is to eventually have Mimers under all main components except the LP12. Anders has had problems with the width himself in his main room, he told me a couple of months ago. So a Mime...
Re: JBL 3677
ThomasOK, have you tried/considered the Yggdrasil shelf? It doesn't quite match the standard width Harmoni shelf in performance, but it is smaller in size. Maybe it could work with the 3677's?

Well, we've received our coverage from Stereophile. While it isn't all that could be hoped for there is still the adage: "all publicity is good publicity". We obviously didn't come off as one of the rooms he thought sounded bad as he had mentioned elsewhere and we did get some coverage so I'm pleas...
