Re: M140 to Akudorik upgrade advise

I don't think I would do that. I would either look for some Solos (if you want the family look) or some Tundra Monos.

I think Linto makes more sense of the music.
I agree, it's especially noticeable in the guitar melody at the beginning of the first song.

OK...that's it! I gotta get me some REM. I miss this album!
It's one of their best I think, particularly side B. Obviously you can easily get a US pressing which is probably even better.
I can confirm that it's worth getting the US pressing, I've had both (UK&EU and US).

Re: Karousel

I just talked to my dealer and he had just received a brand new Akurate LP12 with Karousel. He was absolutely astounded by how good it was. He had never thought the difference would be so big, it was almost like a Klimax LP12 :-) Everything sounded so natural and there was much more feeling in voice...

Okay, as we now are trained in having several comparisons going at the same time I will continue my hunt. The question is what part of the carbon fibers I shall use as support point for the cd power cable. Using the tip of the carbon brush fibers (tip): https://www.dropbox.com/s/mrckikqn2gvvyb3/Vid...

thank you TMV.
I will start over.
I have an LP12, with a Kandid and a Radikal.
No Urika.
Will the Radikal connect to the MM phono stage of a McIntosh (4100) receiver?
Why don't you just get a (second-hand) Urika 1? It would fit right in to your system. Or maybe a Lejonklou Entity MC preamp?

I prefer the first clip. The music is easier for me to understand and get into. Tendaberry, you owe us an explanation regarding the picture. Since the Tundra can drive a pair of Linn Akurate 242's, there should be no problem with the 805's.

Alela Diane - About Farewell (US 2013) , sounds great on vinyl! Bonnie Raitt - Luck Of The Draw (US 1991) , yes this is an old one. But I only had a European pressing, after comparing them, my friends said that the European pressing sounded broken... Martha Wainwright - I Know You're Married But I ...

0.6 +3: https://youtu.be/zTi9VB90yIA
0,6 +4 would also be my pick.

Not sure where to post this, so adding to this thread: has anyone tried these power cords on digital equipment, such as DS, Hakai, or (LS/Hakai) NAS? Re: Brikin' It !

I think it's a case of the pre-Cirkus bearing + Valhalla not resolving enough and smearing what's actually happening when the musicians play. They may therefore sound tighter than they actually are, or at least you interpret it that way. I know I couldn't give up Cirkus (well, I will for Karousel), ...
