Hi Thomas, I bought the D2v in December 2011 and was a little bit disappointed from the sonic performance in stereo playback at the beginning. After two months, this has changed. As far as my ears are concerned, it comes very close to my AK/D_0. I have the impression that the AK goes deeper in bass ...

:-) Still proud of that :-) At the moment I'm A/B-testing stereo performance between the Anthem D2v and Akurate Kontrol... To my ears, they are very close...

But the SACD/DVDA-player has to convert the signal to PCM, so DSD isn't supported "natively" by the DSM. Now even my "low-budget" Marantz AV processor (AV8003) does DSD via HDMI...

Thanks for the flowers :oops: The rack is homemade as I couldn't find one for all my stuff... I adapted it when I got the Panasonic plasma, so that now, there's enough room for an Akurate center :mrgreen:
