That's a blanket statement.
None of my reissues sound better than the originals, some as good but not better.

Re: Playlist

Blanket statements about version superiority make as much sense to me as the assertion published on this forum that jazz is not Western music. The U.S. is in the West. I said in my case most of the reissues that I have purchased seldom sound as good as the originals. Example number one; I have an o...

Re: Sagatun and Sagatun Mono

Thanks a lot Tony That sounds really interesting indeed. In a bit longer perspective, my next upgrade may very well be going MC, from Adikt/Slipsik 8 to Krystal/Entity for my Akurate-ish LP12. But that's quite costly, so doing the upgrade of the Sagatun in the meantime sounds logical. I like to do ...

Re: Sagatun and Sagatun Mono

Hello I see that there's been an upgrade of the Sagatun was launched late last year, but I haven't seen any comments on the forum. So has anyone done the upgrade and can comment? I'm particularly interested in the stereo version. And what about the cost? Good evening domesticaone, I recently had my...

Re: Playlist

I learned about Carole King from my siblings, and I really like her music. I don't have many of her albums though...something I can look into... That's a good idea! They are well worth getting. I would start with "Tapestry" of course, then "Writer: Carole King" and "Music", those are the essential ...

Re: Entity MC

It's been awhile since visiting this thread. But earlier this month my Entity was finally updated from the 1.1 version to the 1.2 version. In addition, my Sagatun Stereo preamp was updated from the 1.4 version to the 1.7 version as well. Both of these upgrades were very significant, and together the...

Re: Playground for practical listening exercises

It took some time listening to all three, but I finally finished. There are elements of both A and B that appeal to me, but it's difficult to say which is actually better sounding overall to my ears. The order for me could be either A followed by B, or B followed by A...with C being a distant third ...

Thomas, Just in case you go with it, I know a couple of people that would be interested in a coffee mug, or polo shirt. By the way, in regard to the mugs and the polo shirts. The mugs were a project that sunbeamgls undertook with permission from Fredrik a few years ago. He made up a large batch and ...

Re: Tony Tune-age System

I'm glad to hear you are liking the upgrades to the system. I do find 1.7 vs. 1.4 to be quite compelling. Your SS was torqued based on Fredrik's latest findings in case you were concerned. Well, all of the Lejonklou upgrades I've had so far have been great and there isn't anything to dislike...that...

Re: Tony Tune-age System

Thanks for the report Tony. In my opinion it will take a while until the Sagatun develops full quality. But your description leads to the idea that the stereo Sagatun warms up a little faster than the monos. Since two components have received an upgrade, it will of course be a little more difficult...

Re: Tony Tune-age System

Well, it's been nearly ten days since receiving and installing the upgraded Lejonklou Entity 1.2 phono stage, and the Sagatun Stereo 1.7 preamplifier. Much of the burn-in time for the Sagatun was achieved by using my Linn Pekin turner (at a very low volume), primarily over night and when not using t...

I purchased these Lejonklou items when they were available back in 2021...but not sure if they will be offered again. Of course when I wear the polo shirt, people always ask me what Lejonklou means.
