Linn Uphorik

For sale is my Linn Uphorik I have owned since new, purchased in July 2020. It still has the balance of Linns 5-year warranty. Suitable for any MM or MC cartridges. It also has balanced or RCA inputs and outputs. The unit works superbly and is virtually unmarked. Finished in black and complete with ...

Not really. The connections are completely different and so is the pully itself.

Seems a reasonable response.

I can't seem to understand the point of spammers. What do they hope to achieve?

Re: Cleaning Linn Axis motor pulley

Great.

You remove the two plastic grommets underneath to gain access to the pots btw.

Finally, level the top plate off with a spirit level by adjusting the screws in the feet.

Re: LP12 Bounce Measurement

I would think the weight of the iPhone on the platter would throw off the level of the platter much different from the weight of a record and have an adverse effect on the bounce. Here’s something to strive for. https://youtu.be/43_lQvVI13k Theres a video that follows yours by Linn Kasa, trying to ...

I think the better option is to get the BNC's changed on the 72, a relatively simple job.

Re: Cleaning Linn Axis motor pulley

Cant quite see the state of the motor pulley from the photo, but there are two types on contaminents on motor pullys. 1. Rubber residue from the belt, the colour is black. I usually clean this off with isopropol alcohol and a cotton bud. Sometimes you have to scrape it with a wooden spatula. 2. Corr...

Re: Going AKTIV on Linn Majik 140’s

Going active is tempting, but you will gain a far better sounding system swapping the Majik stuff and Kinos for the latest Katalyst Akurate DSM to use with your A2200. Then go single wired with either K200 or TQ blacks. Think you’ll be delighted!

Re: Karousel

I’d go for the AK Radikal with a Keel. Super combination. The Klimax Radikal is better than the AK R, but the aforementioned combination is superb for a bit more dosh.

Of course, if you have patience and want to do it stages, then the KR is a great place to start.

Hi Xavier

Yes, I have found the Skale and it is still in original packing with the additional weights, fixings and hex key.

Are you in the UK? If not, where are you located?

Thanks
