Re: Forum issues are discussed here
Now the forum is a lot faster. Seems we've been under repeated DDOS attacks.
But the rest of the site now has a redirect loop. Trying to figure out its origin.

Re: Forum issues are discussed here
It was for a while, but now we have troubles again.
Apologies for this! I might have to change our service provider, although it’s a little impractical right now as we’re also moving the lab to new and bigger premises.

Re: Lejonklou Boazu Integrated Amp
Is there an approximate price yet, for the B2? F No, the price will be set just before they start selling. I wait for my Swedish assembly company to complete 5 to 10 units and give me an exact price for their work. They do most things on it, so it's a substantial part of the total cost All I know r...

Re: Källa is now shipping
I neglected to update this thread, but Källa 070 is the latest unit to have been completed. Each one requires lots of time and effort to build, because of the tight specifications. So usually when one is ready, it's already been ordered. But 070 is still available, so it seems I've finally caught up...

Re: Tundra Mono 3
I neglected to update this thread with the sales of Tundra Mono 3. All 78 units of the first batch were ordered but only 72 have shipped so far. The last six units will ship in the next couple of weeks. Biggest market has been North America. A new batch will be made as soon as the first 50 units of ...

Re: Speaker Choices for Lejonklou amplifiers…?
There is no specific low limit impedance for my amplifiers. The design of the output stage is such that it's extremely resilient to difficult loads, such as low impedance or phase shifts. If you use a loudspeaker with very low impedance, the only thing that can happen is that you can't play as loud....

Re: Kinki3 output voltage
Correct! Although I’d round it up to 0.36 Vrms. :)
The specified output of the cartridge is a nominal voltage, so in practice it will vary between records.

Re: Which App ? (Streaming + Local)
I’m mainly a Linn streamer but am very strongly considering the kalla. I have a bunch of music that’s not on Spotify or Qobuz that I access via minimserver. & the Linn app. The music is on a HD that’s connected to a Mac mini running minim server. I’m curious how I would access the music via a kalla...

Re: Lejonklou Boazu Integrated Amp
I think I have now nailed it. Boazu 2 is finally going into production. Boazu 2 will be demonstrated on the jazz evening at Authentic the 3rd of May in Brussels, Belgium. On the 4th of May I will visit Sound Odyssey in Buggenhout, Belgium, together with Marco of Hexagon Audio. We will be there durin...

Re: How to: add a RELt5i to the tundra 2.2 Tarandus via hi-level connection
Don’t worry, it won’t cause any damage.
Tundra doesn’t care if the inputs are shorted.
The preamp is where the loading down happens, as the outputs are “playing into each other”. But that shouldn’t cause any damage either.

I like them. And I definitely prefer the raw PVC to a cover in mesh. Mesh feels cheap to me, because all the cable-scam companies out there use it.

Re: Playground for practical listening exercises
I’m going to go against the grain here and say that although the A’s are a bit messy and the B’s more in control, there’s something about the A clips that I like. Initially I preferred 1B to 1A, but on the second track I started getting that feeling that A had something that B was missing. And I fel...

Re: How to: add a RELt5i to the tundra 2.2 Tarandus via hi-level connection
Zee, as I wrote above: You can NOT connect an Y-cable to the two line outputs of a Tundra stereo.
What happens is that the signals are shorted against each other. Yes, the level drops. And it sounds worse. And you no longer have a stereo signal.

Re: How to: add a RELt5i to the tundra 2.2 Tarandus via hi-level connection
You can’t join the left and right channel outputs with a Y-cable without them shorting each other. So that’s a no-go. However, if the Y-cable has a resistor in the region of 100k ohms on each of the signal conductors, the left and right won’t short and you’d get a mono signal reaching your subwoofer...

Re: Lejonklou Boazu Integrated Amp
A brief update on Boazu 2: I remember I once wrote that some designs just fall into place and become great without much effort. Gaio was one of them. Boazu 2 is not one of them. And I remember the original Boazu required lots of tuning as well to find its balance. I thought I was done a few weeks ag...
