Re: Playground for practical listening exercises

I found S2 versus F2 difficult. There was something right - and something missing - in both. On the floor! 😳 So the lowest shelf of a Quadraspire rack isn’t better than on the floor? Have you tightene...

Re: Spotify?

I wasn’t talking about big tech in general, just that I’m not worried about this particular development. Suppose they make a playlist with 100% AI-made ”music” and call it ’Relaxing moments’. Where’s ...

Re: Spotify?

Frankly I'm not that worried about this development. And I can really understand the financial incentives at play here. The streaming service charges you a monthly fee, so they know exactly how much t...

Re: IOS 18.x IPad Mini 6 Battery charge

One day later,, the charge was at 95%, after 3 hours of playing it was at 76%. Apparently the charge level display is not linear, because from around 90% the charge drops rapidly. This morning it was...

Re: Playground for practical listening exercises

I recognise the sound of iPad Mini 6, which I think is likely the most musical control point to be used with Källa, but the Mac Mini M4 sure has improved a lot since your initial clips with it!

Re: Playground for practical listening exercises

Lingo is very sensitive to placement, just like Radikal.

Did the dealer suggest placing it on the floor because that sounds good or because the placement doesn’t matter?

Thanks for the info, Pete! Shelf hanging in nylon cords helps explain the avantgarde influences on the music in A. I am not familiar with the shelf hierarchy of Quadraspire. Is the bottom shelf really...

Are the two power supplies in a Boazu arranged like this too? That is, one for the +’ve rail and one for the -‘ve rail, rather than one for the pre-amp section and one for the power amp section. Yes,...

Love your ideas! Half size Mono power amps might be possible with fans inside. But even if they were very quiet, I suspect fans could cause trouble in the long run. It seems difficult to make an integ...

I have not noticed any change in battery drain on my iPad mini 6.

I would check under Settings - Battery which app is consuming the most. Is something running that you weren’t aware of?
