By the way: I configured the audio_buffer_size in MPD to 128kb, ending up in stuttering sound. Set the buffer to 1024kb: stuttering vanished.

Same here. Running HAKAI as per spec, using a LSNAS for music storage. Control points: Kazoo and/or Lumin. No problems sofar.

Looks like you installed the 32 bits W7 version unable to handle over 4 Gb RAM. In order to acces all 8 Gb, you need to reinstall your LS using W7 64 bits.
