I'm gonna tease you a bit. A quick calculation you have gear for 16000 €

You can have Qobuz for 55 years for that kind of money :-)

Of course not, Tony. Beck's reply said it better than I could... Thanks beck (I think ;) Good evening tokenbrit. Re: Brikin' It !

Thanks. Do you think that an amplifiers ability to double its power output as the load halves is important, or it just another bit of marketing speak? You can’t use the double power/half load to anything. Any amplifier can do that. Tundra: 35 watts 8 ohm and 70 watts 4 ohm. Nothing wrong with these...

Re: Torque wrench

Hi’ Just bought a SEALEY SCREWDRIVER TORQUE DIGITAL 0.05-5NM 1/4, I didn’t really expect anything but I’m very surprised of how well it works. It is pretty accurate (2%) and it it comes with a nice calibration sheet. The range is perfect and it’s easy to use. One flaw is that it doesn’t hold the bit...

Lingo 1 recap result

Lingo fun facts Late last year i recap'ed my 30 year old lingo 1 I never turn it off. I was pretty sure that after all these years the capacitors were close to fail. The result actually surprised me a bit. None of them were bad. Note that C6 where replaced about 5 years ago - it failed... I know cap...

Re: How to repair failing Dynamiks

measuring caps while still in the circuit can give misleading results - did the cap measured the same o.k. value after you taken him out? you are right thermal cycles/power on and of cycles usually kill the components in the long run congratulations for being successful They were out - of course.

How to repair failing Dynamiks

Some time ago my M4100/D began to make funny clicking noise (mechanical/relay). Soon after it died completely. The power supply was out of business. I was trying to find another power supply without luck. Now - I don't give up so easily. I found out the standby power supply didn't work. It is a smal...

Re: Playground for practical listening exercices

Nope. I just started a recording and started at 1.5g - played 25 sec - added some force - played 25 sec and so on.
Then I cut the 20 sec pieces and pasted them. Then I saved them individually - then they got mixed up in the process. I'll make new recordings with can be identified.

Maybe a little info on my clips. It is a recording from my Adikt. Tracking force is between 1.5g and 2.5g. Unfortunately I got the clips mixed up so I can't tell which numbers relate to what clip. Recorded like this: DS-I optical out (RAW) to a MacMini. Audacity software recorded in 96kHz/24bit. Sav...
