Similar to Thomas, I thought the tracks sounded a bit muffed for 242s - not out of phase are they, or perhaps a phone case blocking the mic?

I did try to compare last night but C was taking forever to upload. Needn't have worried though as I preferred A and B over C like everyone else.

A is more my type of sound, less impressive than B but just made more sense and was more enjoyable.

I enjoyed active 360s the other week, especially via the Klimax LP12. They do a good job of disappearing.

I've had a look at the mic positions and they are not too dissimilar. I now remember to avoid covering them with my fingers so I'm not sure what the cause is.
