Re: Linn Factory Tour
Interessting video but very little focus on LP12 and the arms (none at all). Is there a video showing more of the turntable items?

Re: Utopik upgrade
And again Linn's retailers should dispose the old PSU-card, Dynamik or older, so the owner could not sell it or use it in another item. Same as when upgrading to Radikal 2, motor control card and motor in the garbage. Reprehensible. Why on earth should Linn's retailers dispose of "my", already paid...

Re: LP12 Counterweights For Heavier Cartridges
I use the sKale on my Ekos SE with the Benz LP. Works very well.
Didn’t like the heavy cw from Linn. Very tight, in fact so tight I did not use it to not harm the bearings.

Re: Karousel
A new outer platter isn't very expensive and worth the improvement by itself when I listened at my dealer. I don't have a problem agreeing with this. I was just saying that I don't feel a new outer platter in necessary due to what I see. I don't agree with HBE that the contact area is smaller as th...
Re: Karousel
I would not have been happy with the outer platter riding on the inner platter like this. The contact area between the two items is probably much smaller than optimal.

Re: Best Sondek/turntable picture.
Ciao HBE, unfortunately it cannot be moved back I have no space there are cables and the Linn shell is small Hi. It is possible but you have to bend the connectors on the wires between arm and cartridge. I have the same issue with my Benz LP cartridge but with a little modifications it is possible ...

Re: Karousel
Did you try 3.5Nm as Linn recommends? If so, how did that compare to the other settings you tried? No I did not since ThomasOK said he didn't like that with Keel. I will try some more to find optimal-optimal notch, incredible improvement last night! One advantage to work with your own system is tha...

Re: Karousel
The comparison is between my original torque on the Karousel of .4Nm -2 notches in Clip 1 vs. my latest (and I hope final) torque of 2.6Nm +5 notches in Clip 2. No other changes were made to the system. What do you mean with -2 and +5 notches. Don't you set the torque driver to the correct torque a...

Re: Karousel
Same here. A sounds much better than B. Surprised that the sound quality is so dependent of the torque.
