Don‘t know why but when listening on my iPhone I prefer 3).

Re: Is Källa the GOAT?
In the last years I recognised that Linn become better and better … in a technical way. I can understand why a lot of people use Linn Space Optimisation (definitely not my cup of tea), Exakt (is it really the same step like going from passiv to active?) or Karousel (huge technical improvement withou...

Re: Munich show 2022
In Munich every shelve was different. So if this rack has an impact, it‘s not easy to make an A/B/C-comparison of KDSM/2 Katalyst, KDSM/2 Organik and KDSM/3 Organik on different shelves

Re: Playground for practical listening exercises
I found the Kan 1 much better but this finding is not based on this video. Maybe the strength of the Kan 1 can.t reproduced in this video.

Re: Best Sondek/turntable picture.
You could present your system in the “Me and My System” thread! Agreed...and Bens system pictures would be some nice audio candy for the eyes! Cheers! Indeed! To my untrained eye Ben appears to have “everything”. :-) many, many thanks. Yes, it’s growing over the last 40 years and I’m very happy wit...

Re: Best Sondek/turntable picture.
Smart looking system. What supports are you using? I wonder if your LP12 would perform better on its own without the gear on the lower shelf. Many thanks for your kind words, I use TimeTables (http://www.timetable-hifi.de). The original one has a similar size like the famous IKEA Axamo but unfortun...

Re: Best Sondek/turntable picture.
Yes, I know. But it‘s very hard to find an old fluted plinth, so I bought one of the last new ones in black.
Looks also quite nice even I would prefer the original one.

Re: Best Sondek picture
Hi Tony Tune-age,
very nice pictures, congratulations! Many thanks for sharing. Do you think that the corner is the best place for the LP12? Have you tried to swap the small cabinet with the LP12?
Kind regards
Ben

Re: Karousel
Karousel needs some days to run in. The first hours I noticed that there are more information, lower noice floor and all the other HiFi-Arguments. But I was not sure if the Karousel offers more musicality. The instruments stand alone and I was not sure if all musicians play together (they did but in...

Re: Twin/D vs non Dynamik Solo.
Twin/D is faster than the old non Dynamik Solo. But my experience is, that the passive 242 need Solos to sing. So I would prefer the Solos but it depends on the price. I wouldn’t mix these two amps for be-wiring. A friend of mine replaced two non Dynamik Twins (Bi-amping) with two non Dynamik Solos ...

Re: Recommended tool for 242 3 k array torque settings
I was told that the factory setting is also the setting for listening at home.
I can confirm that - at least for the Komri - the values are very musical (I tried lower values but went back to the values above).

Re: Recommended tool for 242 3 k array torque settings
Hello everybody, the official and confirmed factory settings for the Komri are: - 2.1 Nm for 3K - 3.0 Nm for Upper Bass (inner screws) - 3.7 Nm for the two lower basses Friends of mine use the 2.1 Nm also for the 3K of their 242. First impression is that it sounds a little bit dull but it is very ex...
