Re: Lejonklou Boazu Integrated Amp

So happy to hear about a Boazu 2! I am sure it will be a killer, even though I do not know how it is possible for it to sound better as I am sitting here listening to Källa-Boazu-Grahams Ls5/9f. I have a more pragmatisk aproach to the question. Since the Boazu does not have a volume-knob, and I real...

Re: My Lejonklou home

Thank you very much, Thomas! Same wishes to you. I have built the sideboards myself. One could say I have a bit of a plywood-fetish: ) Here is my Ptp-Lenco-audio note plywood deck. Plays really well! I had an lp12 Whitch a Naim Aro, which I actually sold to get the Källa. The Lenco plays very well, ...

Re: My Lejonklou home

Thanks for the New Year's greetings. A really nice system, very attractive to look at. The Källa as a source is something special and with the Bazoo the spirit is preserved. Congratulations Thank you very much, Hermann I really admire your system an enjoy your posts. So interesting that you tried a...

Re: My Lejonklou home

Your Jern’s look fab under the window Fred11! I really like HiFi systems which blend into their environment without drawing attention to themselves. Thank you, Spannko! They do not look like they can sound good in that place, from a hifi-perspective. But they sound amazing on the sideboard. Much be...

Re: My Lejonklou home

It sounds like they are very special and difficult to beat. When Hermann wrote about his experience with Grahams also, with speakers costing that much more; legendary. I used to own Naim Sbls and regretted the moment I sold them. Now I am happy I moved away from Naim,, though.

My Lejonklou home

Dear forum Happy New Year to all. I wanted to thank the forum members and Fredrik for this excellent bank of knowledge and uncompromising focus on music and musicality. With this I thought I would share my now Lejonklou-filled home with you and some thoughts about were I have been and were I am now....

Re: Lejonklou Boazu Integrated Amp

Congratulations with yet another great review of the Boazu, Fredrik! I mentioned yesterday in another thread that we would be starting out the year with a really fine Boazu review. I didn’t realize we would be actually starting out the year with it but we did as it posted today! Here is the link: ht...

Re: JERN Speakers

I would say that are the most disappearing speakers I have had. I had Spendor, Naim Allae, naim Sbls and neats before them. In my big room (48 m2) I think the 14 is best, since they are easier to drive than 12ws, yet same scanspeak elements. In my small room I like 12ws best. With Kan-stands I like ...

Re: JERN Speakers

Hi Soundside! I am a Jern-man and run Boazu - Källa with two systems 14 ds-Rel and 12 ws, switching the Källa between the two Boazus. They do not give you pumping deep bass, bit conveys very emotional layers of music in a very natural way with great pace and rhythm. But speakers are very personal so...

Re: Wallopp turntable

The technical part sounds very interesting and the testimony by Anders at Tonlaget is quite something, knowing that he really knows Linn, tune-dem and Lejonklou. Like Källa it sounds like enthusiasts has put their soul into this, just get a feeling of sincerity and passion reading their homepage and...

Wallop turntable

We all love Swedish hifi, so this is interesting:
https://www.oopsaudio.se/
I think it is in Swedish, so you would have to translate if English other language is preferred. It seems that the excelent shop Tonlaget which also sells LK has it. https://www.tonlaget.se/
Anyone from Sweden heard it?

Re: Speakers more tuneful than Linn

I am in the Lejonklou-Jern Club. I just got Kan-stands to my Jern 12WS and switched the spikes for some matching pads under the stands (sounds strange, probably, but much better music) and sounds amazing now. I think Efraim Roots found the 12ws more musical than 109. I think it is described here: ht...

Re: Källa in the media

This is some statement: ‘ Källa + Spotify drew me into my music in a way I hadn’t experienced previously with digital. It did away with the invisible glass wall digital often places between the music and the listener more thoroughly than any device I’ve heard.’ It was even done without iPhone 11 or...

Re: Spotify settings for best musical performance

Hi Fredrik Sounds like a well earned break. That was my experience too with the settings. Made me prefer qobuz on lots of music. Now that I am back with Spotify, It has made me paranoid so I check quite often. What is strange is that the last update did not change the settings. It’s unpredictable. H...

Re: Streaming service

🔶 I'm a little surprised,.or a lot. Nowhere on the "net" except here,.you read that Spotify would be better than Qobuz. Instead,.everyone writes all over the internet that they are waiting and waiting for Spotify to start delivering high-resolution HiFi-quality. I have Qobuz myself,.and in my high-...

Re: Streaming service

This is embarrassing, but I have learned something important. It seems my testing with Spotify and Qobuz during the Christmas holiday was done with the all the wrong settings on. Especially Sound normalization and play feedback sounds, which has Spotify playing badly, especially on modern recordings...
