Re: Questions of a newby to Lejonklou..
thank you for clarification - I wondered if for the power strip the same is true like for power cables but than saw you mentioned the Clas Ohlsen strip has only 1,4m unfortunately Clas Ohlsen has closed in Germany so I might get the Naim Music Line ... I can later compare them to the Clas Ohlsen ver...

Naim Music Line power block
Thinking on this, might a Naim Music Line be a good replacer of the Blacknoise? These are quite cheap so would be ideal... I can definitely recommend the Naim Music Line power block! Where are you located? I don't think it's available in US/UK spec. @Tendaberry: which Naim Music Line power block do...

Re: Playground for practical listening exercises
sorry to hear that Thomas but at least you are very much up in the food chain ... being able to get the parts directly and being able to change the parts by yourself ... and with the right solder and the right temp and put everything together with the right toques. Should I go on? Your accident made...

Re: Assistance with Linn system hub choice
Welcome Marco,
my first question is do you want to go streaming or would analog also be an option?
a Majik LP12 and a Lejonklou Boazu would even save you some money and might be the more musical option.

following the tune and emotion dont have to go along the same way - my understanding is that a system which involves you more emotionally can be ... but not necessarily is the more tunefull system. mmh, with rubber (A) seems more dense and less detailed but mure musical
directly on the support (B) seems to reveal more details but also sounds more harsh
however I would have not expected to hear such a difference between the two

Re: Linn Lingo 4 ground problem and fix
I have a question with respect to the cross brace/bar. I have recently took the Lingo 2 out and installed the Akurate Radikal. I had a cross bar in my LP12 which was holding the motor control board and I left it where it was for better stability of the plinth. Are you supposed to take it off when yo...

Re: Ekos II blow and swing test
almost at peace - I just bought a Jig as I tried to optimize the bounce (only put it on a frame which will soon become my coffee table LP12 support) and made it worst and since there are a lot of parts waiting to be installed I wanted to get used to do it by myself ... and you need the right tools f...

the outcome was that the bearings have been changed - was it necessary I dont know. the issue is you might have dirt in the bearing or one of the bearing balls having an issue and you end up having an issue which comes and goes However, the arm now behaves like I want to have it behave - an AS of 0,...

Its impressive what you got your CD player to deliver.
I like Redbud tree very much too I think that is an extremely musical song - I bought the vinyl just for this one song.

Re: LP12 Bounce
the knocking comes from springs that „grab“ the edge of the larger/top grommet see in the picture: A7EC7BC4-E4EE-4D75-8C66-BAFC79BCC338.jpeg you see the mark the spring wire left in the rubber and if you carefully look at the edge of the grommet on the right side you see where the wire hit the edge ...
