Can anyone confirm that the streamer inside the Linn DS(M) is the same for all versions?
Majik DS(M), Akurate DS(M), Klimax DS(M) and maybe even Kiko and Sneaky?

Minimserver was not hard to install on my HAKAI NAS, running Open Media Vault NAS software.

So what I really need now are more clips form Sopper of the RME vs the Gigaport to see if the RME is actually better as it appeared from that one set of clips. If it is, it seems like it would also handle all the high-res files and even has the auto-dark feature (right up my alley). So how about it...
