Re: Source Files: What's on your wishlist for Kalla?
I would definitely want to use my NAS as a source. And hopefully be able to play DSD files.

Re: Sagatun Mono Tarandus
I am also very happy with my Tarandus upgrade. Improved control was clear from the start but they really start to sing after a few weeks. Thanks Fredrik, looking forward to the Tundra Tarandus upgrade!

Re: Lejonklou custom made speaker cable
I have thought about that but the cables are quite heavy so I am not sure the soldering will hold. But I may try to see if there's a difference.Spannko wrote: Have you tried them the other way up, so that the HF is fed before the LF?

Lejonklou custom made speaker cable
When Frederik and Marco visited my home earlier this year to demo the stereo's vs the mono's, Frederik spent ample time on my speaker placement. He also took measurements of my Kef Reference 201/2 tri-wire speaker connections saying that he would make a proper cable for them. What a big suprise when...

Re: Sagatun Mono Tarandus
My o my, I already had this experience without the upgrade...Erik wrote:... it drages me into the music and I have found myself standing still listening even if I was doing something else for the moment.
My mono's are currently in Sweden for the upgrade. Can't wait to listen!!

I agree, especially since I had the whopping experience of your Sagatun mono's. Best to put your money early in the chain. How's the streamer getting along btw? ;)

Re: No way back...
I ordered my set of mono Sagatun's and Tundra's yesterday. After hooking up the mono Tundra's I never went back to the stereo version. ''Didn't you compare?'', Marco of Hexagon Audio asked me. Nope, the difference was clear right from the start. The mono's added control, dynamics and even more liste...

When I decided to upgrade my audio system last year I knew that I would be climbing slippery slopes. Since my university years (long ago) I had been happy with my core system of Sugden C28 pre and P28 power amp and a self built modification of the legendary Roger LS3/5A monitors. Ofcourse I had been...
