Re: Komponent 110 and Lejonklou

While I can't tell you yet what is coming I think you might find this interesting: https://www.audiofest.net/attending/products/?keyword=B Scroll down the page and look for the Nokturne Audio logo. I can say it is not a streamer nor a Moving Coil phono stage. I can also say I expect it to be very p...

Re: My new system

Just changed my mounting screws for my Klyde to the shorter Rega standard screws losing 0.2 grams. It does make a difference. To be recommended! beck, As was posted prior to you, all Klydes came with longer than necessary screws for install in a Linn arm. This is not surprising as Linn has always m...

The upgrade of Tundra Mono to Tundra Mono 2 [includes one] of the following changes: A new Thermal Interface Material (TIM) between electronic components and cooling block is used. The old material was Swedish and it was really good. The new one is just released, undoubtedly the best in the world a...

Re: Small piece of k400 needed please.

I used to have a different pair of crossovers and on those I replaced the K20/Deltrons with K600/Knekts but I never A/B compared them to make sure there was an improvement. However, that crossover had the links cut for multi-amp operation by the previous owner and then resoldered. I had an opportun...

I did not do a "tap tone” test on the booplinth before listening to it as I didn’t want to bias my listening... I also found some flaws in the appearance,... It was wav files transfered from a USB stick to a new folder on desktop. Comparison was between the exact same file opened in ITunes or "Quick played" in Finder. Klyde and Such

http://www.lejonklou.com/forum/download/file.php?id=24 Beck, If you use shorter head-shell screws, it will result in less mass and allowing the counterweight closer proximity to the pivot point resulting in better sound. By the way, that is the best photo I've ever seen of a Klyde; nice wire dressi...

Too bad you aren't in my neighborhood as I'd come over right now and pay cash!

Do people reading this not know that this pre-amp is better sounding than a Kairn and has a Numerik built in? I have a spare power-amp I'd love to partner this with in my bedroom system.

Re: spidagoat's evolving system and a question about preamps

For my needs I see source selection, remote control, phono stage, and display all as pretty much optional. Volume control and sounding amazing are the only hard requirements. Remote is a nice to have. I don't see a need for a display and expect that the complexity required by preventing it adding n...

Re: Lejonklou Tundra 2 power amplifier

It would be interesting to hear how close, with the new improvements, the Tundra 2 comes to Tundra Mono 2. I doubt it will be close at all. It was about a year ago I heard my Isobariks with a Tundra stereo and told Tom O'Keefe it was probably the best I've ever heard Isobariks. Then he asked if I m...

Akudorik vs. 109 vs. Isobariks

acl, Have you compared passive Akudoriks to passive 109s to passive Isobariks? Passive Akudoriks cost roughly eight times more than either mentioned above. 109s with stands run actively from Tundras cost the same as just Akudoriks. In my opinion, Akudoriks are a rip-off. I believe I've heard the bes...

Don, Let me get this right: You don't understand the tune method or think it's crucial (let alone remotely important) in improving the enjoyment of your hi-fi. Yet you like SPACE. SPACE was designed using the tune method and is fostered in setup by tune method. It has been my experience that hi-fi m...

u252agz,
Wait a week or so with the Sagatuns warmed up. Then connect your turntable to the "single-source" input. You will then get a new pre-amp. It seems a little queer flipping a mechanical switch on the back of an expensive pre-amp but you will love it!
