Anyone can be part of this. You just have to compare and write the letter on the clip you enjoy the music the most.

No comments, just the letter.

Answer will be given tonight at 23 GMT.

Hopefully this first one is easy.

I'm guessing it's not a turntable bearing change :)

One more for the quick ones! A slight bit more difficult.

Which clip makes the music most enjoyable (also to be revealed at 23 GMT)?

So this was my first try with blind tests. Just done in a hurry.

To spell it out there is no right or wrong. What you hear is what you hear. Some things clips are not good at showing and some they are good at.

It is all about what you find most musical. We can see if there is consensus or not.

Clip A was my normal setup unchanged and B was with one speaker cable reversed at the amp end (red connected to black and black to red).

Clip C was my normal setup and clip D was with a piece of felt removed.

Not many answers to the last set of clips but some disagreement noticed.

I prefer C as it brings my cd player closer to my Sondek sound but again it can be a matter of taste.

So that is all. Maybe blind tests can be useful or maybe not. Time will tell.

Thank you for listening.

Yes, me too.

I can't get over how much difference the felt makes. Without getting into which is better, just the difference between them both. Wierd. Having said that, I listened again and still think D is better 😁

If you ask somebody which is better it is not a comment to say "this is better". :-)
