Don’t let Me Be Misunderstood, King of America. Quoting Bob Dylan (The Philosophy of Modern Song): Elvis Costello & The Attractions are them contemporaries ‘light years ahead’.

The only good Floyd album, if you ask me...

Maybe I'm the only one left but I'm still a big fan of DSOTM, and Obscured by Clouds for that matter.

Good album. Mine it MIA. Funny how occasionally a record will simply disappear never to be seen again. Often its mis-filed but not always. Some that vanished decades ago are just a vague memory that I'm not sure were even real especially if they're obscure and never played on the radio, like a dream. Maybe it's just me :D

I have that album, and most of her other albums on vinyl. I also saw her in Toronto on the last perfromance of her last tour before retiring to work on other projects. A brilliant performer. That particular song can be hard to listen to as the emotional content if powerful and very sad.

Essra Mohawk's brilliant first album (under that name). She also played in The Mothers under the moniker Uncle Meat as well as with the Grateful Dead. Her real name is Sandy Hurvitz though. Oh, and she wrote Cindy Lauper's hit Change Of Heart.

Love that album. Used it on demonstrations maybe 7 years ago? Woman in chains. Powerful!

I don't have that one but it appears I should. Has anyone heard the 2020 remastered version? I am usually leery of remasters but this one was done by Steven Wilson who is one of the best and who said he really didn't have much to do as the album was already so good. Also considering the time this came out I believe it would have originally have been a digital recording so the fact it was remastered on digital files isn't as big a deal to me as an album that was originally analog. I'd appreciate any thoughts from those who have heard the 2020 release.
