Re: Musician, singer songwriter and …… novelist

Nice! You have some of his best albums there, enjoy! Agreed, that's a very nice collection indeed Springwood. I've been able to get most of my Neil Young albums used, in either excellent or mint condition for very low prices. Of course a few were purchased new, but they costed a lot more. Cheers

Musician, singer, songwriter and ……..Activist Neil Young away from Spotify because of Joe Rogan Misinformation Covid Podcast. Who’s next? Happy to play his albums on a turntable. Fortunately, we have most of his albums on vinyl already. Especially the albums that we really like and listen to most f...

This particular "Grateful Dead album recorded live at Cornell in 1977" (five LP set), is considered by many to be their most musical album ever. https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81R4KsailaL._SX425_.jpg However, to my ears this "Grateful Dead album recorded live at Fox Theatre in Saint Louis, 1971...

Thanks for the update Tony. The Ekastatik inclusive KR/2 upgrade will be installed today. Can therefore only offer a comparison Kandid-KR/1 vs Ekastatik-KR/2. The LP12 is warming up to do some recording with old setup. But the real comparison will be possible in a few weeks when everything is burne...

Re: Latest records to enter your collection

Hello Tony, for fans of the band that recording is a real revelation. But it is sometimes necessary to listen to records several times until the music fully reveals itself. Some are already mentioned regarding other records of the band. Above all, IMHO, of course Tago Mago. Spotify or other streami...

Re: Advice wanted: Water damage to LP collection

Sorry to hear about the flood water damage to your vinyl albums Catweazle. That's never an easy situation to clean up, or get corrected. But you do have a great attitude towards this unexpected accident. And at least the albums can be cleaned fairly easy, and the record sleeves can be easily replace...

Great Tony, hope you won't regret it. Why the long delivery time? It is available in Germany (Amazon). I had seen Can live in an old school auditorium in the early 70s. Not very many visitors and that was an experience. Sat right in front of the guys on the floor. You can hardly feel a musical expe...

Can - Live in Stuttgart 1975 Hardly a record as cleanly mixed as this one and despite the orange vinyl soundwise on the highest level. A musthave for every fan of the group and the genre. I had discovered the album on YT with a flac stream and ordered immediately. Unfortunately, the price has risen...
