Re: Zee9 ..... Coming back to Linn!

I get that, seems like there's always something to purchase. And of course the Entity 1.2 sounds fantastic, definitely better than the Linto and Urika phono stages! It will be replaced with an entity soon enough. Just need to slow down on any new purchases. Nice looking system Zee9... I had a Linn L...

Re: Zee9 ..... Coming back to Linn!

Nice looking system Zee9...

I had a Linn Linto phono stage for awhile, it sounded really good and was priced nicely as well.

Enjoy!

Re: Tony Tune-age System

I'm glad to hear you are liking the upgrades to the system. I do find 1.7 vs. 1.4 to be quite compelling. Your SS was torqued based on Fredrik's latest findings in case you were concerned. It's been awhile since I posted any music links, but I will try to post a "before Lejonklou Upgrade music link...

Re: The heart of the Domesticaone home system

Record collecting is definately a bulky hobby. What's in the picture is only the new arrivals crates. Pretty much ditto in my case. They do pile up, don't they? Same here, I recently had to pick-up a few more album crates. Only instead of wood crates, they are durable plastic with built-in handles....

Re: Linn 50th Anniversary

This hasn't been commented on in a while but I thought I'd put in an additional word or two. I am not expecting to see the Utopik for Radikal this year. I put my money where my mouth is and recently ordered a Radikal2 for my second LP12 instead of waiting for Linn to add the Utopik. The latest word...

Re: Sagatun and Sagatun Mono

I got my upgraded stereo Sagatun back about a week ago, and find the improvement astonishing. More detail, and at the same time more coherent. In short, musical, I guess. It's been many too late evenings lately... Definitely more musical all the way around...bass, midrange, highs and vocals! I'm st...

I fixed the last two posts and deleted a redundant post. Make sure the URL you are using is for the image itself, not a just page that happens to have the image on it. To be certain, right click on the image and select "open image in another tab (or window)" then use that URL -Moderator Thank you.....

That's a blanket statement.
None of my reissues sound better than the originals, some as good but not better.

Re: Playlist

Blanket statements about version superiority make as much sense to me as the assertion published on this forum that jazz is not Western music. The U.S. is in the West. I said in my case most of the reissues that I have purchased seldom sound as good as the originals. Example number one; I have an o...

Re: Sagatun and Sagatun Mono

Thanks a lot Tony That sounds really interesting indeed. In a bit longer perspective, my next upgrade may very well be going MC, from Adikt/Slipsik 8 to Krystal/Entity for my Akurate-ish LP12. But that's quite costly, so doing the upgrade of the Sagatun in the meantime sounds logical. I like to do ...

Re: Sagatun and Sagatun Mono

Hello I see that there's been an upgrade of the Sagatun was launched late last year, but I haven't seen any comments on the forum. So has anyone done the upgrade and can comment? I'm particularly interested in the stereo version. And what about the cost? Good evening domesticaone, I recently had my...

Re: Playlist

I learned about Carole King from my siblings, and I really like her music. I don't have many of her albums though...something I can look into... That's a good idea! They are well worth getting. I would start with "Tapestry" of course, then "Writer: Carole King" and "Music", those are the essential ...

Re: Entity MC

It's been awhile since visiting this thread. But earlier this month my Entity was finally updated from the 1.1 version to the 1.2 version. In addition, my Sagatun Stereo preamp was updated from the 1.4 version to the 1.7 version as well. Both of these upgrades were very significant, and together the...

Re: Playground for practical listening exercises

It took some time listening to all three, but I finally finished. There are elements of both A and B that appeal to me, but it's difficult to say which is actually better sounding overall to my ears. The order for me could be either A followed by B, or B followed by A...with C being a distant third ...
