As the difference between these two going to be small compared with 2* Klout active (or 5125 active) it's better to buy a Klout as you later on can buy another and then get active! 2*Klout active going to be a LOT better than the other options! First a correction. I discovered that I have mixed up A with B. :oops:

So... A was the best before. And despite using B 24/7 for 2 weeks to burn it in - NO improvement at all.
On my Unidisk, A is best!

yes, all recomendations are based on "source first" systems.
It's likely going to sound a lot better to sell the sub and upgrade the amp.

Bass management and other processing of the signal can ONLY destroy the signal.
A good sub can enhance the tune and sound but let the front speakers (and the sub) handle the full signal!
Best is to connect the sub to the power amp "line out" - NOT the pre.

I have been waiting for this a few weeks. Not so easy to sell 2.1 to a higher price than Akurate CD... Well, actually not easy to sell 1.1 either but they cant stop selling it before a replacement is released. And that must be a LOT better than Akurate CD to justify the premium... Be careful.
If a Unidisk 1.1 has been updated it need a "reset" to be at it's best.
Also, the Unidisk must be configured again as the reset takes it back to factory settings.

I compared the sound before and after reset/configuration and the diffrence is big.

Since posting we have decided to go with a C2200 which we can pick up for a reasonable cost from our dealer. Good that you drop the idea of 100w! But why C2200 and not C4200?
