I ordered one from Tonläget 2022-02-22.

Linn Ekos 2 swing test
Hello! I am in the process of selling a Ekos 2 and trying to figure out how to do a swing test. When I watch a youtube clip showing this being performed I noticed that the arm-rest had been removed so that the arm could make a larger ”swing”, not being limited by the arm rest. With the armrest in pl...

Re: LP12 Building Advice
I have now checked the latest Rega tonearm offerings and think that especially the RB330 at 440€ and RB880 at 780€ could be very interesting alternatives if building a budget LP12. Both Circus bearings, steel chassis, standard motors and Majik power supplies should be available for little money thes...

Re: LP12 Building Advice
I can not really understand your argument. You can buy both the Majik and Kore sub-chassis with a Rega mount. So Linn obviously do not have a problem with people putting Rega arms on the LP12, and why would they? You also give a good explanation yourself why there is no Rega variant of Keel when you...

Re: Headphone amp?
Sweet!
Been waiting for this for more than 10 years.
What headphones have been used during development?
I assume headphone socket at the back and a mechanical volume knob at the front?
Is it designed to be plugged directly to a source or does it gain performance with a good preamplifier in between?

Re: A poll for Sagatun owners
I did mean a control similar to Naim volume controls and no remote. Have just bought an old NAC72 and looked inside. Its very modular and gives an insight in how few components thats needed to create a single source pre amp. Of course power supply is also needed, and this might be the most complicat...

Re: A poll for Sagatun owners
If there is a market for a new Kikkin....
And I would prefer it with a trditional volume control ;-)
Its a no brainer (easy for me to say)
With experience from Sagatun and Boazu.
In the Gaio/Slipsik housing
After that its time for Super-Lingo

Re: Slipsik 7
Trade in the Slipsik 6 for the slipsik 7. Upgrade traded in Slipsik 6 to ”end version” Sell this version at a price somewhere between Gaio and Slipsik 7 Make sure that this version is clearly marked as ”not uppgradable” This Slipsik version might be a cost effective upgrade option for a Gaio owner L...

Re: LP12 Radikal problem
when designing the Radikal, the first question asked must have been: how much space do we have.
They probably measured this on one Sondek with rather "large" plinth, added a bit of tolerance and mistake done...

Re: LP12 Radikal problem
@ Charlie1 I remember when I bought the composite upgrade foot to my Ninkas. They had some quality issues, had to drill the holes up, and when they were fitted also had cosmetic issues, variating stone pattern. It got more irritating to look at for each day, so I went back to my dealer with them. He...

They will have to go! ;-)
Spreading your hifi budget on two systems will not get you anywhere.
You will still get serious money for these items as long as they function (they will not work forever).

Re: The New Lejonklou Streamer
Yes, I know component supply is an issue with very fast lifecycles for some electronic parts. The server/storage module could be designed as a separate PCB, that could be replaced or changed without affecting the streamer/DAC part. I realise it sounds stupid trying to design something that can be bo...

Re: The New Lejonklou Streamer
Hello! I have followed this thread closely. My recommendations is as follows: Try to integrate and control all parts that affect musical qualities in the solution. If the NAS and ethernet communication is vital for quality it should be in your streamer, this is the simplest and perhaps only way to g...

Re: JBL 3677
Ok, I missunderstood the purpose of moving the ports. I thought you wanted to tune port to speaker element distance. Also I forgot to say that you may rotate the whole enclosure to get the ports horisontally aligned, during tuning. There are many variables to play with... Just looking at the ports S...

Re: JBL 3677
At: Music Lover You might be right, but at the same time Linns top speakers Isobarik, Keltik and Komri have succeeded, with this design. Re: JBL 3677
Thanks! My idea to create the inner enclosure for the 3677 is quite simple but a bit difficult to explain, I shall try to do a drawing tomorrow. If the height of the 3677 element is important to have at about 600mm above floorlevel, it might be possible, just by turning this concept upside down. You...
Re: JBL 3677
Hello! I have followed this discussion closely. It would be very interesting trying to combine the 3677 and 4645C in to a common enclosure. I have made a simple outline combining the internal volume of both and placing the speaker elements close together. Depth is 400mm (50mm less compared to Akubar...
